Celebrating #womensmonth, we’ve been asking our network of published female writers from all genres for their top piece of advice to other aspiring writers, possibly hoping to self-publish.
Precious Mvulane, author of the entrepreneur’s manual “The Essential Finance Handbook for Entrepreneurs: Seven Steps to Manage your Business Finances”, gave us this piece of advice to pass on:
“Provide sufficient time to get a production team who will review your work and edit the book. Don’t become emotionally attached to their changes, because we do not write for us as authors, but for our readers. If the editors feel and believe the book needs refining or restructuring, trust and allow them – as long context and content do not change.”
