With Yes!Press you enjoy full ownership and control of your distribution accounts. We also publish what YOU want. No rejections and no pushy salespeople trying to upsell, cross-sell or oversell you services. You retain full copyright of your manuscript and you own the files that we produce.

Once your distribution accounts have been set up, you can access your sales and royalty data any time you wish, change your book price, tweak your keywords for better SEO, run promotions, and more.

Maximum earnings

You keep 100% of net profit on every book that sells, in perpetuity, because you own your distribution accounts and are paid directly by distributors for all sales.

Local bulk printing at the print manufacturing cost 

Order books in bulk for your local sales and pay only the print manufacturing cost, plus local delivery. Don’t pay thousands of rands extra in hefty delivery costs by publishing overseas and shipping books to South Africa!

If you are a non-South African author, you can also order books in bulk at the print manufacturing cost through your author account portal on Amazon or Ingrams (we show you how).

Local print-on-demand sales 

Sell your book locally on a print-on-demand basis. No capital outlay. No piles of stock. And no unnecessary warehousing costs. Your book is printed and delivered to customers when they purchase your book online.

Hardcover printing

Certain book sizes are available in hardcover format. This is the perfect option for limited or special edition books. Simply activate the hardcover add-on service.

Quick turnaround for eager-beavers

Don’t wait months to see your book on Amazon. If your manuscript is polished and ready to go, our straight-to-market model will see you up and running in as little as 10–12 working days for ebooks, and roughly two months for paperbacks. If your book still needs editing or proofreading, it will take longer.

DRM-protection for your ebooks

DRM involves locking a digital file so that only the person who purchases your ebook can view it. DRM-protected ebooks are usually read on dedicated devices or by using specific apps.

DRM-protection is automatically applied to all ebooks published through Yes!Press; however, you are given the opportunity to choose your DRM preference when you complete our customer onboarding form.

Author earnings paid directly to you

Amazon, Draft2Digital and IngramSpark pay you directly. Once your book is available for sale, you are free to access you accounts, check your sales and earnings, change your price, and more.

Direct deposits are made into US bank accounts. If you don’t have a US bank account, you can obtain one from www.payoneer.com – it’s quick and easy to sign up, and funds can be transferred from there to your local bank account. There are also no minimum payment thresholds, which means you get paid whenever a sale is made, regardless of the amount.

The option to publish under the Yes!Press imprint or your own name or imprint

As a Yes!Press client, your book will feature the Yes!Press logo on the spine. However, you can use your own logo or publish under your own imprint, if you prefer.

Yes!Press has been designed for manuscripts with relatively straightforward layout and formatting requirements. (For more complex formatting or design-heavy books, contact us for a revised package price, or consider publishing under the Quickfox imprint.)

Our package costs assume that your manuscript has already been edited and is ready for publishing. Choose one of our five packages to get your book to market quickly and with minimum fuss.

• Ebook Express – for authors who want to convert their print edition into an ebook and sell it on Amazon; it’s also suited to authors who have their ebook cover artwork ready and have prepared and formatted their manuscript for conversion. This is a simple convert-and-go solution. See your book for sale on Amazon within 10–12 working days. 
• Ebook Express Plus – the same as Ebook Express, but with expanded distribution to Apple, B&N, Kobo, Booktopia, Gardners, and more.
• Ebook Standard – this is a full ebook publishing and distribution solution. It includes all the services needed to publish an ebook, and make it available for sale worldwide using expanded distribution. 
• Paperback Standard – this is a full paperback publishing and distribution solution. It includes all the services needed to publish a great-looking paperback and make it available for sale worldwide using expanded distribution. Amazon’s distribution partners form the backbone of this service, but distribution can also be done using Ingrams; simply activate the Ingrams package add-on and enjoy benefits unique to Ingrams.
• Ebook and Paperback Combo – enjoy all the benefits of Ebook Standard and Paperback Standard in one convenient package at a discounted price. Make the most of your marketing effort and exposure by capitalising on every sale possible knowing that customers can purchase whichever format of the book they prefer, wherever they shop, no matter where they are in the world.

This full paperback publishing and global distribution solution turns your edited manuscript into a beautiful, high-quality book that can be purchased through the world’s largest stores.

We set up global distribution for sales through Amazon and other retailers, libraries and subscription services, and local sales through Publisher.co.za, with access to South African bookstores for qualifying titles, offered through our local distribution partners. You also receive 20 printed copies of your book to get you started. One of these copies is used for legal deposit, which we submit on your behalf.

A hardcover format of your book is available as an optional add-on, as is expanded distribution using Ingrams instead of Amazon, with all of the benefits unique to Ingrams.
